Public Hearing – Myers

Notice of a public hearing is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247 and 170 as amended) and the Greene Township Code (as amended). The purpose of said public hearing is for the Greene Township Zoning Hearing Board to hear a request submitted by Joseph Myers, 2466 Somerset Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. The applicant seeks a determination from the Zoning Hearing Board that the operation of a golf course simulator business at this address could be classed as a Home Occupation. The property is located in the R-1 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District. Request is in reference to Greene Township Code, 105-32. Home Occupations, Subsection A.(3)(ii). The public hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. on April 15, 2025 in the Greene Township Building Meeting Room, 1145 Garver Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202. The hearing is open to the public.
