Public Hearing – Conditional Use Permit
PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of a public hearing is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (Act 247 and Act 170 as amended) and the Greene Township Code (as amended). The public hearing will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in the Greene Township Building Meeting Room, 1145 Garver Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202. The purpose of the public hearing is for the Greene Township Board of Supervisors to receive evidence and testimony regarding a request for a Conditional Use Permit submitted by LK 29 LLC, 900 Kriner Road, Suite 1, Chambersburg, PA 17202 in regard to property located within the Cumberland Valley Business Park. The subject vacant property is addressed as 819 Development Avenue and is shown as Franklin Co. Tax Parcel 09-0C03S-029.-EX0000. The property is located in the HI (Heavy Industrial) Zoning District. Proposed future use of the property will be as a rail served logistics center. Distribution and Logistics Centers are listed as a Conditional Use in the HI Zoning District. The request is in reference to Greene Township Code 105-12.C(9), 105-37.1 and Greene Township Code 105-60 Conditional Use regulations. Following the conclusion of the public hearing, the Board of Supervisors may vote on granting the Conditional Use Permit during the regular portion of the Board of Supervisors meeting commencing at 7:00 p.m. on June 11, 2024 in the Greene Township Building Meeting Room, 1145 Garver Lane, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
